Eric Schmitt is an associate at the Quinlan Law Firm. Eric has extensive experience working on a wide array of complex commercial litigation matters, with particular experience in antitrust, breach of contract, business torts, and bid protests. Eric also has experience in intellectual property disputes and other administrative law cases.
Prior to joining the Quinlan Firm, Eric was an associate at Sidley Austin LLP’s Chicago office. Eric also served as a judicial clerk for two years on the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., developing expertise regarding all manner of federal trial practice. Prior to attending law school, Eric served in the office of Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, focusing on environmental and economic development policy issues.
Eric graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Georgetown University Law Center in 2012. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Chicago in 2006.
